Assistant professor Allison Madar, History, received a 6-month fellowship as a Kluge Fellow in the John W. Kluge Center of the Library of Congress to pursue research on her manuscript, tentatively titled “A People Between: Servants in Slaveholding Virginia from Bacon’s Rebellion to the American Revolution.” The Kluge Center gives only 12 awards per year across all humanities and social science disciplines.
