What have you been up to lately? We want to know—really!

Alumni Symposium Survey

CSWS turns 50 in 2023-24, and we invite you to take part in a collective envisioning of “feminist futures” at our Alumni Symposium set for May 10, 2024, at the University of Oregon.

Please fill out this two-minute survey to let us know more about your work and life now. Whether or not you can come, we’ll use your responses to create this special CSWS alumni celebration. We want to hear from you! 

Also, you can sign up for our newsletter (published bi-weekly from September to June) to hear the latest about our 50th anniversary celebrations.
 

Video & Written Testimonials

We invite you to share stories of your work and life through through video or written testimonials that highlight the important contributions of our alumni. Here's how to do it:

Video Recording Instructions:

1. Use your smartphone, tablet, or other digital camera to record the video. 
2. Find a well-lit and quiet space, making sure that the light comes from the front, NOT from behind you. 
3. Record the video in landscape format, holding or propping up your device horizontally.
4. Video must be less than 5 minutes long and max 2GB in size, aim for about 3 minutes.
5. Please respond to the following questions:
   • Who are you? 
   • What do you research? 
   • How did CSWS contribute to your work and career? 
   • What is your vision of “feminist futures?”

Video Upload Instructions:

If you are recording the video on your phone or tablet, the easiest way to upload the video is directly from your device by following the instructions below. You can also send the video file to your computer and upload it from there. 

Upload using mobile device:

1. Open a web browser and go to wetransfer.com 
2. Click on “Send file
3. Upload the video file
4. Title the transfer with “CSWS Alumni Video”
5. Add your full name in the “Message” section
6. Select “Next” and “Send an email,” then “Transfer”
7. Email to csws@uoregon.edu and add your own email as the sender

Upload on a computer:

1. Open a web browser and go to wetransfer.com — you do not need to sign up, if prompted, simply select “I just want to send files”
2. Click on the plus sign to upload your video file
3. Email to csws@uoregon.edu
4. Enter your email
5. Title the transfer with “CSWS Alumni Video”
6. Add your full name in the “Message” section
7. Click on “Transfer”

Written Testimonials:

If you prefer to provide a written testimonial, please respond to the questions below and email your answers along with your name and contact information to csws@uoregon.edu with the subject header “CSWS Alumni Testimonial.” Please include a photo of yourself that we can use on our website and social media.

By submitting material, you give permission to include excerpts from your video or the entirety of your video in a compilation of video testimonials from CSWS alumni. We may also post your video or written testimonial on our website and social media to raise awareness of the impact of CSWS.
