Alison Altstatt

wrote her dissertation on “The Music and Liturgy of Kloster Preetz: Ritual Practice in a North German Women’s Community, 1350-1550.”

In 2014, she is an Assistant Professor of Musicology/Music History at the University of Northern Iowa. Her works in progress include a monograph on the music and liturgy of Kloster Preetz.
