May 23 panel to discuss Making Carework Work in Higher Education

On May 23, guest panelists will discuss carework policy and experience within higher education, with comparisons from sectors ranging from day care to  nursing care. Panelists include Maria Fernanda Escallón, 2021-22 Wayne Morse Resident Scholar and Assistant Professor in the UO Department of Anthropology; Sarita Gupta, Vice President of the Ford Foundation and 2021-22 Wayne Morse Chair; and Lisa Ellen Wolf-Wendel, Professor of Higher Education in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Kansas.

The event is part of the Wayne Morse Center's 2021-23 theme, Making Work Work, and is cosponsored by the Center for the Study of Women in Society. The event will be held Monday, May 23, 12-1:30 p.m. in the Lewis Lounge, 4th Floor Knight Law Center.
