On May 23, guest panelists will discuss carework policy and experience within higher education, with comparisons from sectors ranging from day care to nursing care. Panelists include Maria Fernanda Escallón, 2021-22 Wayne Morse Resident Scholar and Assistant Professor in the UO Department of Anthropology; Sarita Gupta, Vice President of the Ford Foundation and 2021-22 Wayne Morse Chair; and Lisa Ellen Wolf-Wendel, Professor of Higher Education in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Kansas.
The event is part of the Wayne Morse Center's 2021-23 theme, Making Work Work, and is cosponsored by the Center for the Study of Women in Society.
