In fall of 2023, CSWS will mark five decades of generating, supporting, and disseminating research on the complexity of women's lives and the intersecting nature of gender identities and inequalities.

Planning for this milestone event begins Friday, February 4, 12-2 p.m. All CSWS faculty and graduate student affiliates are invited to share their ideas during this collaborative virtual retreat. Because pandemic conditions prevent us from meeting and sharing a meal in person, registered participants will receive a DuckBucks gift card, sent to their home departments, to purchase lunch at any campus vendor.

The meeting agenda will include discussion of possible organizing principles for the celebration, results of the planning survey, formation of a planning committee, and more. A formal agenda will be sent to registered participants in advance of the retreat.
