CSWS website gets new look, navigation options

This week, the Center for the Study of Women in Society rolls out the first phase of our website upgrade plan. The CSWS website now has a fresh, clean look as well as several new features on the home page:
  • "Highlights" buttons that link to new content such as Features, Podcasts, and Campaigns.
  • Prominent links to frequented site content, such as News, Events, and Funding.
  • A selection of recent News and Events posts.
In addition, all new pages are mobile-friendly to improve overall user experience on the site.
As phase one of the project, the new website interacts directly with archived content in the old CSWS website through the main menu bar at the top of the home page. Clicking on menu links will take you directly to content in the old site. To return to the new site, just click the "home" button.
This interim phase of our website redesign project allows the CSWS community access to archived materials while adding dynamic new content and improving user experience on the new site. Phase two of the project will migrate all content to a new platform that is fully mobile friendly. The full project is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
