The event is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Women in Society, the Association of Anthropology Graduate Students, the Department of Anthropology, School of Journalism and Communication, the Folklore Program, Women's and Gender Studies Department, the Office of Institutional Equity & Diversity, and the Dean of Students.

A methodology workshop will commence at 10 a.m., Saturday April 7, in Susan Campbell Hall, first floor. The workshop will focus on historical anthropological, ethnographic archival, and sociobiographical methods. It will be taught by Dr. Alett Biersack (UO professor of anthropology)' Robert Thompson (OSU professor of ethnic studies); and Dr. Mark Auslander (professor of anthropology & museum studies, CWU).
