Host an Event - and add your area to our map!
Hosts for Road Scholar presentations may include libraries, historical societies, community colleges, senior citizen groups, civic groups (such as local chapters of the League of Women Voters), and volunteer associations (such as the Soroptimists).
The Center will provide the speaker and supporting materials, while you—the sponsoring organization—provide the venue, advertising, and overnight lodging for the speaker (if necessary).
If your organization would like to host a Road Scholars
event complete the on-line application. If you have questions, contact Peggy McConnell, peggym@uoregon.edu, (541) 346-2262.
(Note: if you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you
can download it from the Adobe
website, free.)
NOTE: Applications for Road Scholar presentations will be treated on a first-come, first-served basis and are contingent on the availability of the presenter.
We will notify you within two weeks of receipt of your
application.
Important: Please apply at least six
weeks before the date of the presentation you would
like.
