CSWS supports the
formation and continuing activities of collaborating scholars. Our Research
Interest Groups (RIGs) have memberships that include faculty and graduate
students of the University of Oregon as well as community participants.
CSWS initiated
the RIG program in 1995. Each year we commit significant funding and
staff time to their development. We hope that out of the RIG process
will emerge long-term research and pedagogical programs that will have
significant positive impacts on women and girls and for which we can
help createlong-term funding and support.
The goals of our
Research Interest Groups include:
- facilitating
collaborative research and inquiry
- creating support
groups that can assist their members in preparing and submitting grant
proposals
- building better
connections between scholars and community activists
- creating opportunities
for cross-disciplinary discussion among scholars.
UO faculty and/or UO graduate students (with a faculty advisor) are
eligible to apply for CSWS RIG Sponsorship. For more information about
RIG sponsorship and/or an application please visit our Application
