Robin Wall Kimmerer is the director, Center for Native Peoples and the Environment. Her latest book “Braiding Sweetgrass: indigenous wisdom, scientific knowledge and the teachings of plants” was released in 2013 and was awarded the Sigurd Olson Nature Writing Award.
